Student Experience

The Fordham Graduate School of Education's online programs are comprehensive learning experiences that seamlessly deliver the campus and classroom online, providing skills that translate to success in the field. In addition to engaging classes, the programs incorporate opportunities to develop lasting relationships, and extensive student support. Within this dynamic structure, Fordham GSE online programs inform compassionate education professionals dedicated to student success in changing education spaces.

Face-to-Face Online Classes

As a student in our online programs, you will meet in live, weekly classes with peers and distinguished Fordham faculty through our online platform. Classes are kept small to facilitate intimate discussion of course content.

Mobile App

The Fordham GSE online experience gives you the advantage of learning wherever you are. Our programs offer a mobile app, allowing you to work from a tablet or other mobile device and to access course content without an internet connection while in offline mode.

Engaging Course Content

You will attend live, interactive online classes taught by education experts. Coursework—video lectures, case studies, and assignments—is self-paced, downloadable, and can be accessed 24/7 anywhere with an internet connection.

In-Person Experiences

Apply the skills and knowledge gained in your courses during in-person experiences in your community or on campus. As an M.S.T. student, you will be placed in a student-teaching experience in a school near your community. As an Ed.D. student, you will attend two on-campus immersions where you'll collaborate, problem-solve, and network with your peers.

Meaningful Relationships

Connect with a diverse and ambitious network of professionals and Fordham faculty. Our virtual classroom allows you to meet inside and outside of class, form study and social groups, and attend office hours outside of live classes.

Student Support

From the moment you inquire about the program to the moment you graduate—and beyond—our teams provide support and assistance. Advisers and faculty members provide personalized guidance to ensure your success as a student and professional.
